For auction is this Rare COLLECTIBLE COMMEMORATIVE PORTER CABLE 505 SANDER. Porter Cable released this sander as a 25th anniversary edition commemorating 25 years of production of the 505. This sander is different from other 505's in that it has a polished body and a First in Finishing 25 years USA medallion on the top of the motor housing and it was shipped in a custon finger jointed oak box. The sander is complete and is in new condition. The box is new condition and has original packing and the original promotion tag. The sander is designed to use either 1/2 sheet sand paper or self stick rolls. The serial number plate on the sander says Model 505 Commemorative heavy duty sander type 2 . this tool is pristine and highly collectible. This is an excellent working tool and would make an exceptional addition to anyones shop or collection.
