This Lo-D HMA-6500 stereo power amplifier by Hitachi is a high-quality vintage model featuring MOS FET output stages and a DC amplifier configuration for clean and powerful sound.
Operation has been fully tested including speaker output A/B channels, meter movement, lighting, and switch responsiveness. Playback is confirmed using a CD player and speakers.
Cosmetically, the unit shows some minor wear consistent with age but remains in above-average condition for a 1979-era amplifier. There is a small area of adhesive residue on the upper left of the front panel that could not be removed, but it does not affect performance.
The headphone jack is missing, so PHONES output is unavailable.
The unit has been cleaned for improved presentation and reliability.
This rare vintage amplifier is still fully functional and ready to be enjoyed.
