Enjoy instant freedom to switch between fingerpicking and flat picking with the Black Mountain Spring Loaded Thumb Pick, a patented design that lets guitarists change techniques the moment they feel the urge. It measures 1.5 mm at the hinge and tapers to 0.5 mm at the tip with beveled edges. The standard pick shape feels similar to a 0.7 mm nylon pick, and the light blue tapered ring provides a comfortable, secure fit. The spring-loaded arm automatically adapts to medium to extra large thumbs, giving you a balanced feel that stays in place while you play. It is an ideal tool for guitarists who blend fingerstyle and picked lines within the same song. Invented by guitar teacher Cole McBride, the Black Mountain Thumb Pick was created after years of testing traditional picks and identifying ways to give players more comfort, control, and inspiration. Perfect for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, bass, ukulele, and jazz playing, this pick offers excellent tone and versatility for beginners and pros alike. The Black Mountain Thumb Pick helps you explore new styles and stay creative every time you play.
