This is a vintage set of addi Webstricken (Weave Knitting) Needles, a fun and specialized tool from the well-known German brand addi. This technique lets you knit while feeding in a second weaving fiber, so you can create really interesting textures and patterns.

The original packaging is included, though it's definitely worn and beat up, but it still holds everything.

Contents included are:

  • addi weaving needles with the attached rubber/plastic tubes that guide the weaving fiber into your work (I’m not sure of the exact needle size, but google translate says it might be a size 8).

  • The original plastic threader tool

  • The original instruction guide (in German) with images.

  • Two Fibercrafts instruction sheets (these typewritten sheets were likely made by the U.S. distributor to help English-speaking knitters). One covers “Directions for Using Tubular Knitting Needle,” and the other includes a pattern for a “Cotton Linum Short Sleeve Sweater.”

The tools, tubes, and threader all appear to be in good, vintage condition. The box is worn but complete. A great little find for anyone who loves unique or historical knitting tools.
