Brake caliper cores go through a series of QC checkpoints to ensure we are remanufacturing the highest of quality cores. Cores that are heavily pitted and severely corroded are discarded at the beginning of the remanufacturing process. Brake calipers are remanufactured at our IATF 16949 state of the art facility. Aluminum brake calipers are machined around the inlet "Faced" to ensure a leak free tight seal. All phenolic pistons are discarded at teardown and are replaced 100% new during the remanufacturing process. Steel pistons and components go through a series of QC check points to ensure they are reusable, then they are thoroughly cleaned and go through a final inspection before assembly. All cast iron brake calipers are coated with corrosion resistant zinc dichromate which provided an OE style look and protection from rust. All brake caliper threads are cleaned and chased for OE type performance and during final inspection a go-no go test is performed for approval. All rubber components are material tested to ensure that only the highest quality rubber is being used for remanufacturing. Rear actuated calipers Caliper banjo bolts, crush washers, and friction hardware are replaced with 100% new, never reused. The end user will not have any doubt that when they open the box, that the caliper has been put through the highest level of quality of remanufacturing and quality checks.
