Thermal paste has been replaced this year in August. Keyboard came off of a t400 and it feels great. Lots of ports on these old laptops this one has 7 usb ports if you include the dock. This would be a great laptop for security against the backdoors like the intel ME.

The bottom shell has a crack as seen in the pictures. When closing the laptop the left latch needs nudged a bit to fit in the lock grooves for it to fully close. Some screws are in the wrong spots and it causes the shell to not fit flush with other parts of the shell as seen in pictures.

The laptop may have screws missing or in the wrong size. The Laptop's internals, keyboard, and shell are secured down.

This would be a good laptop for a quad core project.
