Sponge filter uses bubbles of air from an external air pump, or an integral water pump to draw water through the sponge.

The sponge need to be rinsed about every 2 to 4 weeks. It’s helpful to wash the sponge gently with water from the fish tank instead of tap water.

It is good to replace the sponge after 3 to 6 months’ usage as the holes of sponge is gradually clogged by the tiny debris.

Great for tanks up to 10Gal. 2 inches in diameter and 4.75 inches in height.

Constructed with detachable parts allows you to easily take it apart for cleaning or replacement.
