1967 Gibson ES-330TD – Sunburst – Beautiful, Original Example

The serial number (065461) and potentiometers all date to 1967.

Playability:

The guitar plays every bit as good as it looks, with excellent intonation, low comfortable action, and a beautifully responsive acoustic quality that ES-330s are known for. At 2.7 kg (6.0 lb) it’s light, lively, and effortless to play.

Condition:

Overall, the instrument is in excellent vintage condition, showing only the expected small dents, dings, and surface marks, along with attractive lacquer checking that gives it authentic character. Under UV inspection, no cracks or structural repairs are visible.
Several years ago, the back of the neck was professionally refinished to enhance feel and playability. This work is consistent with the guitar’s age and character. There has also been touch-up work to the edges of the headstock veneer.
