The card is an officially licensed Topps card---the sketch on each card is an original pen and marker 1/1 sketch that is hand-drawn. These are direct-from-artist cards and not pack-pulled. Motivation Behind the Work: "This piece was created to commemorate the legendary Texas Longhorn and Houston Texans running back, Earl Campbell. Earl was one of the hardest running and most punishing running backs in football history. He had a combination of size and speed that hasn't been seen since. This led to Earl winning the Heisman Trophy at Texas and later his enshrinement into the NFL Hall of Fame. Earl inscribed this card with two inscriptions "HT 77" and "HOF 91."
