This is an incredibly rare find, true vintage part finished English Paper Piecing Patchwork, tacked to paper then hand stitched together very neatly.  There is one long continuous section measuring 110 x 200 cm plus 12 smaller sections, roughly round and measuring 30 x 45 cm.

The fabrics are vintage, the paper backing which is still tacked to the backs of the smaller sections is also vintage, it looks like early 1950s but could be much older.  The whole bundle is clean, fresh and I haven't seen any damage.  There are odd pins here and there, I have removed what I can find but it is very likely there are more, so handle with care.

This is a truly stunning project, certain to become a really heritage wonder when finished.  Maybe 9 or 10 hours to complete the main body with hand stitching, then select a backing fabric and edging.
