Assorted 4A graded with flaws (quilt or flame)

Due to the large volume of tops we sell I only have time to photograph a few. This add is for tops I have not had time to photograph. They are the same grade as the 4A/w flaw tops that I have individually listed. 

If you want to pick a specific top we have ads with tops listed individually.

Please let us know what figure you would like, and we will try to accommodate. Due to availability and inventory turnover, we may not be able to accommodate. Though we almost always have quilt and flame in stock.

Here is what we regularly have:

- Quilt 

- Flame

- Curley with Figure (Flat sawn)

- Flame or quilt with random small burls

- Flame or Quilt with or without mineral stains or slight defect

- Burl with or without spalt

Note these defects do not affect the work ability of the tops and give the tops a nice individual look.

Each skin is .250” x 7.5” x 21” and are sold as a set. You will receive 2 book matched skins. Some of these skins may have wane on the edges or be tapered. But will fit telecaster, Stratocaster or Les Paul.

**These skins are .250” thick and wood this thin is very susceptible to moving, warping and cupping. Quilted tops are especially prone to moving. These may not be appropriate for hollow body. **

Luthiers have a tool chest of techniques to flatten and work with maple skins. I recommend looking up these techniques on youtube.

These tops will need sanding, some of the grain is flush and some pulled. We will not ship out anything with cell collapse.
