Q&A for Foot Spa Machine :
Q: Why does the water change color, turn brown or black even without putting my feet in?
A: This is a normal physical and chemical reaction, not a product defect. The minerals and salts in the water react with the positive and negative ions released by the machine during electrolysis, creating discoloration, sediment, or foam. The water will change color with or without feet, which is a normal sign that the unit is working properly.
Q: Is this machine a scam? Does it really detox the body?
A: This foot spa uses ionic electrolysis technology to generate negative and positive ions in water. It helps relax the body, relieve fatigue, soothe foot tension, and improve comfort. It is a home personal care device for relaxation, not a medical device for treating or curing any disease.
Q: Why do I need to add salt? What if no bubbles appear without salt?
A: Salt is used to improve water conductivity, helping the machine generate bubbles efficiently and work stably. If little to no bubbles appear, please add an appropriate amount of salt. This is normal and does not mean the machine is faulty.
Q: How many times can the array be used? How do I clean and maintain it?
A: The array can be used approximately 50–60 times under normal conditions. After each use, soak the array in warm water with citric acid to remove mineral deposits and scale, which helps extend its life. If bubbles become weak or stop generating, please replace the array.
Q: The lights flash or cycle alternately. Is the machine broken?
A: No, this is normal:
All lights flashing on startup = standby mode
Lights cycling every 5 minutes = working mode
Automatic return to standby = cycle completed
None of these indicate a malfunction.
Q: I feel a slight tingling or mild electric sensation. Is it safe?
A: The machine uses safe low voltage (12V). A slight tingling feeling in the water is a normal result of the ionic reaction, not electric leakage. It is completely safe for human use.
Q: Can I use this product outside the US?
A: This machine comes with a US standard plug and is designed for 110V US voltage. For use in other countries, a voltage converter and proper plug adapter are required. Please confirm your local voltage before use.
Q: How often should I use it? When will I feel results?
A: We recommend using 3–4 times per week for relaxation and comfort. Effects vary by individual, and consistent use helps maintain a pleasant foot spa experience.
Q: The array produces no bubbles. What should I check?
A: Please check:
Not enough salt was added, or water has low conductivity
The array is not fully submerged in water
The array is clogged with scale and needs cleaning
The array has reached its service life and needs replacement
Contact support if issues continue after troubleshooting.
Q: Why does the water smell bad after use?
A: Odors are normal and come from mineral deposits, electrolysis reactions, and impurities in the water. Using disposable liners can reduce odor and make cleaning much easier.
