The RFT CM7151 is an extremely rare microphone, having been manufactured for only five years, from 1953 to 1958.

Though not widely known due to its limited production, it is a legendary vintage microphone known only to those in the know for its excellent sound quality.

This lollipop-style microphone is a versatile vintage microphone that can be fitted with a variety of capsules, including the vintage Neumann M7 capsule, as well as BLUE capsules and Violet Audio capsules.

For example, if you have a BLUE bottle microphone and multiple capsules, you can simply get twice the character of the sound.

The only drawback of this microphone is that the power supply is inside the microphone, which causes power noise.

The microphone being sold has been modified to use an external power supply, eliminating this drawback.

This microphone uses two EF12 vacuum tubes, and its dual tube design gives it an ultra-high gain output.

The tubes are starting to show some wear now, but they still sound great.

If you are concerned about white noise, choose a NOS vacuum tube with less noise and change to that vacuum tube to eliminate the white noise and obtain a purer sound.

The product includes the microphone itself, an external power supply, and a cable to connect the microphone to the power supply. The cable is a MOGAMI cable made in Japan. (The capsule and shock mount are not included.)
