Beautiful french edition of 1870 of this work about prehistory by the french writer and scientiphycal and scientiphycal divulgator Louis Figuier (1819-1894).

The work accurately describes all the periods of prehistory.

Inside there are different engravings in the text by Delahaye and 30 out of text plates by Emile Bayard.

Ex libris in the front counterplate.

In fair conditions.

Half leather cover with gilted title and decorations in the spine in good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Light cracks in the hidges. Binding in good conditions. Bella edizione francese del 1870 di questa opera sulla preistoria dello scrittore e divulgatore scientifico francese Louis Figuier (1819-1894).

L'autore descrive accuratamente tutte le epoche della preistoria.

All'interno sono presenti numerose incisioni nel testo di Delahaye e trenta tavole fuori testo di Emile Bayard.
