The Elder Mossripper is a
end-game rod obtained by Crafting. It boasts incredible stats, and great passives that allow it to become a great all-rounder rod for farming and catching fish.
Passive abilities:
Ancient Fangs:
Adds a 45% weight buff to all fish caught.
Progress Speed:
The Elder Mossripper passively grants +30% Progress Speed.
Lurking Mossjaw:
Every 2 minutes, the player is granted a higher-rarity fish with the Mossy (16.5x) mutation. This however, does not grant Secret fish that are passive blocked.
Mutations:
The Elder Mossripper has a 25% chance to mutate a fish with the Shrouded (7.5x) mutation, and a 5% chance to mutate fish with the Mossy (16.5x) mutation.
How to obtain: The Elder Mossripper can be crafted using the Crafting Station located inside of the Ancient Archives.
You need the following:
1x Shrouded Golden Sea Pearl: Can be obtained at a 0.16% from the Clam in the back of Roslit Bay.
1x Elder Mossjaw: Can be obtained when a Elder Mossjaw hunt spawns at a 2.5% chance every 10 minutes.
1x Mossy Core: Can be obtained from one of the puzzles in the Lost Jungle temple.
