Original February 2009 Pal Joey Playbill from the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Studio 54 revival, paired with one matching orchestra-section ticket stub from the Sunday matinee, February 22 2009 (2:00 PM, Row N Seat 112). This performance occurred just one week before the show’s final curtain on March 1 2009, adding late-run significance for collectors.
Directed by Joe Mantello, this limited-engagement revival starred Stockard Channing, Martha Plimpton, and Matthew Risch, with a new book by Richard Greenberg reworking John O’Hara’s original text and Rodgers & Hart’s celebrated score. The production ran only 85 regular performances, making genuine Playbills and tickets from this short-lived 2008–09 run relatively rare.
The Playbill (February 2009 issue) presents crisp corners, glossy cover, and clean interior pages with no tears or markings—excellent archival condition. The included ticket stub remains fully legible with vivid print and minimal corner wear.
