This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the sport climbing found around Inverness, along with a few Deep Water Soloing (DWS) and dry tooling venues. It covers 24 crags, including Moy Rock, all within an hour’s drive of Inverness. More than 400 sport routes are described across a wide range of grades from F3’s to F8b, on very different rock types. This includes pumpy conglomerate, smooth banded schist, savage gneiss, and bouldery granite. All the routes are shown on colour photo topos, along with the route length. For each crag there is a short description of the type of climbing to be found, along with approach information and map. GPS co-ordinates are also given for the parking area and crag. A simple table shows the number of routes in each grade band.
