This offering is for a men's 1953 Bulova dress wristwatch with 15 ruby-jeweled 10BT Swiss movement; original and certainly a strong candidate or Town-and-Country piece or to wear bumping around the Village. Such pieces never need batteries and are all mechanical marvels. This handsome example is approx. 37mm lug-to-lug; 24mm wide and quite mesmeric. While it's completely original; however, it is NOT RUNNING as I write this. We've taken the liberty of fitting it with a fetching new black leather strap that does accent the piece well. Love the scalloped lugs, the slight "Chrysler Curve."  Would be a perfect "hero" piece for a Hollywood production or to wear around the ranch! And yes, for those of you who've asked if it's okay to wear a man's watch as a fashion statement; yes, it most certainly is, and you're in good company. Some prefer the look of unrestored pieces; some prefer pieces that look as if they've never been worn and every "look" in-between. All looks; all wrist art says "fine taste."

Please bear in mind that this fine old work of art from The Day DOES NOT RUN, although it's estate fresh and a fine candidate for restoration: We have not cleaned, oiled, calibrated or serviced it and cannot guarantee running condition or accuracy, so it must be serviced before being worn as the timekeepers they were known to be.  I know some of our dear wardrobe artists and costume designers are less interested in running condition or accuracy; while others do wear these treasures as faithful timekeepers. You're wonderful either way.
