This is a fine 3.5-inch antique German all-bisque doll made by Kling, best known for their quality bisque figures in the late 19th and early 20th century.
He has:
• All-bisque body with jointed arms and legs
• Painted black shoes with white socks
• Original blond mohair wig (stitched cap still intact)
• Glass eyes with well-painted brows and delicate facial features
• All-original felt costume: black suit with red trim, white shirt, and painted buttons. The outfit is sewn on and has never been removed, preserving its authenticity.
Condition: Very good for age. No visible chips or cracks noted. Costume shows some light age wear but remains sturdy and vibrant.
✨ Why he’s collectible: Kling is a respected German maker, and all-bisque dolls in original, untouched costumes are increasingly hard to find. The boy’s tailored outfit is especially desirable, as most bisque miniatures are girls.
Size: 3.5” tall
Date: c. 1890s–1900s
