Please be aware, all decals come with transfer tape installed on top, ready to apply. Colors or finish may look scratched or not clear, until you remove the tape, after installation.

You can clear coat over top of decals for added protection. It has been done ending with great results. Most clear coats are safe to use. It is best to do some research before attempting and be sure to test on a similar decal or in a hidden spot.
