About Jadeite Density:
While the standard specific gravity of Jadeite is around 3.3, Itoigawa Jade often contains minerals such as amphibole, zeolite, or actinolite, resulting in a lower density (sometimes below 3.0). Therefore, density alone cannot determine authenticity; multiple jade characteristics are considered.
