RARE vintage 1989 Portuguese Transformers Generation One Optimus Prime with box! This is an extremely rare Portugal distribution variant, imported by Chaves, Feist & Cia. S.A. The box shows wear and damage, with dings, dents, veins, and large black patches of staining. The back of the box has the unique Chaves / Feist import disclaimer as well as removed copyright. The figure shows some paint and play wear, as well as chrome wear. The figure is INCOMPLETE and is missing the Roller, gas nozzle, gas pump, and Rifle. The roller and rifle included with this release would have most likely been "#3" variants. Overall, a rare addition to any vintage international variant collection! 

This item is from an extensive collection of Generation One Optimus Prime figures. This collection not only included domestic Hasbro releases, but Takara (Diaclone & Transformers), GiG Italy, IGA Mexico, Ceiji France, Milton Bradley and others. This extensive collection focused on documenting mold, paint, packaging, and other variations that occurred with each available release and use of the Generation One Optimus Prime Mold between 1982's Diaclone Battle Convoy Release and the 1991 Gold Box Europe Transformers Classics Release.  These Primes have unique attributes that are fascinating to variant collectors!
