Note:
1. Prohibit no-load running. Put the pump into water first before connecting power supply and ensure the pump must be completely submersed under water. It would shorten its lifespan and lead to making loud noises when running in the air for long time.
2. Please clean it regularly in case of debris blockage, the pump would make noises if blocked by debris.
3. The maximum flow rate is 160 GPH, there might be a plus-minus tolerance. Every additional foot of pipe, valve and turn will reduce the flow rate a little bit. If the water sprays out the container, the flow rate would also less than 160 GPH
4. 3.6' lift height refers to the height the pump can lift water to at the minimum flow rate. At the stable and constant flow rate, the pump can lift water to about 1.5' height.

Adjustable flow rate: With a control knob, the maximal flow rate can be up to 160GPH(600L/H); Recommanded H-Max (Lift height): 2ft. Note: 160GPH is the theoretical flow rate at zero lift; the actual output decreases with pipe resistance, lifting height. And the higher the lifting height is, the lower the flow rate will be. For example, the flow rate is 160 GPH at 0 ft (without any water pipe), 90 GPH at 2 ft, and nearly 0 GPH at 3.6 ft. And the pump operates on the principle that higher lift results in lower flow rate.

Why is my pump not working properly? To ensure the water pump operates properly, the following steps must be taken: Submersion Requirement‌: The pump must be fully submerged in water. Debris Clearance: If the impeller is jammed by debris (e.g., fish waste, algae, gravel), causing the pump to stop working, disassemble the housing to remove obstructions and check pipe connections for kinks or blockages to resume normal operation. ‌Air Removal‌: For the first startup or after water , gently shake the pump to expel any trapped air inside; air trapped in the pipe or the pump may cause "gurgling" noises and the pump failure due to airlock.
