Offered for sale is a vintage Hamilton "Turner " wrist watch, ca. 1953.  The Turner was the successor model to the Hamilton "Donald" model, and is similar in style to it.  This watch features a 10k solid yellow gold snap back case, a 19-jewel caliber #754 manual wind movement, and a silver matte dial with gold applied numerals and a subsidiary seconds hands at the 6 o'clock position.  The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear.  There is a personal engraving on the caseback that dates the watch to 1954, indicating that the watch was originally presented as a service award to an employee of Marine Midland bank (now HSBC bank).  The movement is in excellent running order.  The dial is in very good original condition, showing a patina appropriate for its age.  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  Size: 22mm wide x 36mm lug-to-lug.  Signed case, dial, and movement.  Fitted with a brown leather strap.  You can own this high grade, attractive, highly collectible American-made wrist watch, for only $699.99.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
