Finder lens: small area of balsam separation (minor edge separation). No noticeable impact on observing in my tests.
Objective cell: same style as the Nikon 15 cm cell—the cell can be removed from the front, ahead of the collimation section, making maintenance straightforward.
Retainer design: instead of a standard threaded retaining ring, this model uses an unusual push–pull screw retention system.
Eyepiece adapter: reversible AD allows use of 24.5 mm (0.965") and 31.7 mm (1.25") eyepieces by swapping front/back.
