Wonderful antique dachshund dog toy dating to the 1920s, most likely of German origin. This small hide-covered dog is crafted over a composition body and makes a charming display piece or companion for antique dolls.

Details:

• Authentic 1920s German hide-covered toy dog

• Dachshund form with long body, short legs, naturalistic ears, and curled tail

• Hide covering stretched over a composition body

• Original leather collar with button accent

• Glass eyes with painted nose and mouth

• Measures approx. 5” long x 2 ½” high

Condition:

Shows age wear consistent with its 100+ years, including some seam separation, wear to paws, and light loss to hide in spots, but overall retains great character and displays well.
