A beautiful Robinson & Golluber scarf in bright red and green colors in an interesting geometric pattern. This was my scarf in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Robinson & Golluber was a fashion house on Fifth Avenue in New York that sold high-end accessories and garments. It was the parent company of IC Herman which produced designer neckware and scarves. IC Herman closed in 1978.
It is approximately 21 1/2 inches square. It has hand-rolled and hand-stitched edges. The original tag is attached which says:
Robinson & Golluber
Pretica
100% Polyester
Machine Washable
Made in Japan
It also says Robinson Golluber in the pattern. (Please see photos.)
The fabric is soft and smooth. It is clean and shows no wear, spots or tears. (Please see photos.) I don't think I wore it more than a couple of times. The geometric pattern is crisp and the colors are vivid with no fading. (Please see photos.) The tiny hand stitches in the hem are all intact. (Please see photos.)
A really lovely vintage accessory for the anytime a bold pop of color is needed. Will combine on shipping so please see the adorable vintage scarf with bears I have listed.
