This is a vintage Japanese porcelain rice bowl from the Showa era (1926–1989), featuring a classic blue-and-white design in the traditional Arita-yaki style.

These bowls can be used for rice, soup, or small dishes.

Perfect for Japanese meals or everyday table settings.

The bowl was carefully stored in a cardboard box in my grandparents' countryside home in Hyogo, Japan, and has never been used.

The underside bears the mark "花山" (Kazan), associated with the historic Arita kilns known for their fine craftsmanship. While I cannot guarantee its authenticity or provenance, the piece reflects the aesthetic and quality typical of mid-20th century Japanese ceramics.
