DESCRIPTION:
You are purchasing a Royal Doulton Winthrop H4969 Afternoon Tea Set and not the props in the picture. The set consists of:
1 teapot & 1 teapot lid = 2 pieces
1 Jug
4 cups
4 Saucers
4 Tea Plates
1 x 3 tier cake stand (3 plates and 1 gold rod) = 4 pieces
19 pieces
White China with red edge and gold leaves with a gold gilt.

Jug: 12cm tall x 5½ cm diameter
Cup: 6½ cm tall x 10cm diameter
Saucer: 15½ cm diameter
Tea Plate: 20cm diameter
3 tier cake stand: 26cm tall, base plate 27cm, middle plate, 20cm diameter, top plate 16½ cm diameter
CONDITION:
Please be aware that as these are vintage items, therefore, there may be some irregularities which happen in production. I will list any of these irregularities, however, these are not defects - these are consistent with techniques used at the date of manufacture. The set is first quality and the pattern is crisp and gilt in great condition, there are marks commensurate with use. See below for more details:
Teapot. In great used condition with pattern and gilt in crisp condition
Jug. has 2 very minor marks - which are highlighted - these are under the glaze and do not affect their use - see last photo montage
Trio 1. Cup some minor marks around the inside rim under the glaze - possibly residue from the gilt - see photos. Teaplate has a couple of marks on the white of the plate - see last photo montage
Trio 2. Cup has one small patch of minor marks around the inside rim under the glaze - possibly residue from the gilt - see last photo montage
Trio 3. Tea Plate has a minor mark on the burgundy and gilt. - see last photo montage
3 tier cake stand. For transparency this is not a factory issue. It is in great used condition with pattern and gilt in crisp condition, a couple of pin head marks on the burgundy on the middle plate. The metal insert is new. This will come flatpacked with instructions for its assembly.
Please study the photos as I send a lot of time assessing the pieces before I list. Please therefore, familiarise yourself with any manufacturing defects that may be listed. I can always send more photos if required.

If you live on non-mainland UK or the Highlands, please note your package may take longer to arrive and not necessarily meet the eBay deadline due to some areas taking 5 working days to deliver to. Also, your package may be sent by alternative courier.

OVERSEAS BUYERS:
For overseas I post through eBay Global Shipping Programme (GSP) who sort all customs requirements out. If your country is not listed, please DO NOT contact me for postage rates and do not bid. I am sorry I cannot post to that location and your sale will be cancelled. Additionally, the postage rate for abroad is set by eBay via Global Shipping Programme not me so I am not responsible for the cost.
Unfortunately, I cannot combine postage for GSP - however, if you contact me regarding all the items you are interested in I may be able to create a bespoke eBay listing with all the items and one postage cost on it, which should help you!
COLLECTION IN PERSON:
If you select collection in person, please note you need to bring your QR code with you. If you do not have your QR code (it will be emailed to you) I will not be able to give you your item as I have no proof that you have received the item. The sale will be cancelled and you will be refunded via eBay.
PACKAGING:
I pride myself on how I pack my items which is reflected in my feedback. All items are wrapped in multiple bubble wrap, the box is lined with protective materials such as air pockets, polystyrene sheets, foam and filled with eco beads to protect the items. The cost of packaging is within the price of the item.
