This is an original antique cast iron boot scrape or Cobbler Bench Shoe Shine Foot Rest which was mounted on a thermally modified popular base with brass screws. It measurers 7.5” wide, 6.5” tall and 2.5” wide at the base. The overall dimensions, including the wood base, are 11” wide, 5.5” deep and 9” tall. The cast iron has typical pitting from exposure to the outside elements for decades.  The modified popular wood base has turned a brown color from the heat treatment. This mounted scrape has many applications including a door stop or can be removed from the wood pedestal and used as a boot scrape.  The cast iron has no damage or repairs. We charge actual shipping. Thanks!
