The book is a collectible copy which is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR, GAIL SULLIVAN, and a STATED FIRST EDITION and softcover copy with a deluxe hologram image cover. This book is in SUPERB condition and has a very slight crease on the center of the spine edge, a slight thumb crease on the center left edge of the back cover, slight dings on the opening tips of the back cover and in a couple of spots on the upper left of the back cover, a small date stamp on the center of the publication page and just slight shelfwear and slight evidence of gentle browsing but no other significant imperfections!  The book is AUTOGRAPHED by the author with no inscription on the dedication page. The book is titled Tears & Tiers: The Life and Times of Joseph "Mad Dog" Sullivan...The Only Man To Escape Attica and it was written by GAIL SULLIVAN; it was published by the author in 1997 and is a STATED 1st EDITION copy.

While this never boring saga delves into his youthful years and forty-five years in prison to date, a hideous, filthy, disgusting portrait of life within the walls. It also touches on his involvement with some past icons of our times such as Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Hoffa, Soupy Sales, and Anthony "Fat Tony" Salerno, Boss of New York's Genovese crime family. Written by Gail Sullivan his wife of over thirty years, while a great read Sullivan's life as such is not one you would wish upon anyone you hold dear--unless they are total jerks.
