This is Volume 3 of the Edo-period woodblock-printed seal catalogue "Moin Hoi" (Supplement to Seal Impressions). Published in Japan during the late Edo era, the book contains a large collection of seals and signature impressions of literati, calligraphers, and painters. Such compilations were essential reference works for collectors and art connoisseurs to authenticate paintings, calligraphy, and documents. The book is in traditional Japanese format (fukuro-toji, stitched binding), with a narrow vertical size typical of Edo-period seal catalogues. The woodblock-printed seal impressions remain clear and sharp, preserving both their scholarly and aesthetic value. Condition: signs of aging such as discoloration, rubbing on the cover, and minor stains, but overall contents are well-preserved and legible. This rare Japanese antiquarian book will appeal to collectors of seals, calligraphy enthusiasts, and researchers in East Asian art history. An excellent and scarce reference to add to any collection.
