Wonderful map of Central Northern Italy (Granducato di Toscana, Stato Ecclesiastico) published in 1720 by the cartographer Johann Baptist Homann (1633-1723) active in Norimberga. Homann initially worked for David Funk and Giacomo Sandrart then published in 1707 his first atlas "Grosser Atlas". Coasts and toponomastics are carefully represented. Very decorated cartouche.
