The 1/25th GMC CRACKERBOX DFR 8000 DAY CAB 3d designed by Alfa-Cantauri is a highly detailed truck kit model in a scale of 1:25. As with any 3d printed model, the need for minimal sanding is required to remove support stubs and layer lines. The item will be printed at angles necessary to reduce these as much as possible. Clear parts will be supplied for use as templates to cut .010 clear windows. You can also sand the clear parts with 800-2000 grit paper, and clear when finished.

There will be parts and pieces left on the supports for protection during shipping to reduce breakage and loss of parts. Here are a few easy ways to remove the supports;

Place the part in warm (not hot) water for a few minutes. The warm water will help loosen the supports. You can also use a blow dryer on a low setting to loosen supports. Do not bend or twist the parts from the supports. Use a sharp pair of sprue cutters when removing supports. Remove the support from the base first to release tension from the part.

If parts are warped, use a gentle heat from a blow dryer to reshape the part. The parts will spring back to their original shape. Again, gentle heat from a blow dryer on a low setting.
