We will arrange shipment from Townsville within 1 business day after your payment has been made.
Some over-sized items cannot be sent via $14.95 Express Post (or can only be sent express in limited quantities) and generally this is noted in the description of the item. For orders in excess of normal retail quantities we reserve the right to negotiate a revised postage price.
Some countries/states may charge customs charges, import duties, and/or tax on overseas orders. Payment for these charges are the buyer's responsibility. Aussie Party Place is unable to advise or calculate what these charges might be as they vary by country and/or state. Please check your local duties/taxes before placing your order.
*Shipping to New Zealand starts at $19.95 for orders 3kg and under. Orders exceeding this weight will be charged at $10 for each additional kilogram, up to a maximum of 20kg.
Some items like helium tanks, sparklers, spray cans, or bulky items are not able to be sent internationally. We will contact you should we need to modify your order to remove such items.
We offer a convenient and free collect pick up service. We are located in Wulguru, Townsville, Queensland. If you are also located in Townsville, you will be able to choose to collect your items upon arrangement with Aussie Party Place. Please place your order online and the necessary details will be given to you in checkout. Collection orders placed Monday - Friday, excluding public holidays, will be ready for collection the next day. Collection times are 4 pm - 10 pm Monday - Friday. You will receive a notification email once your order is ready.

Our refunds and returns policy complies with the ACCC legislation.
At Aussie Party Place your customer satisfaction is of the highest importance to us.
If there are any issues with your purchase please contact us immediately so we can do our best to rectify the situation for you.
We understand that sometimes you may have over ordered, changed your mind on the theme, or an item might not be exactly as you imagined, and for that reason we happily accept change of mind returns within 30 days of receipt of your order. Accordingly, we have developed a Returns/Refund Policy to ensure that you are fully aware of your rights and our obligations to you with respect to returns.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
You can always contact us for any return questions.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Faulty Balloons
We only sell quality balloons made by premier manufacturers such as Anagram, Qualatex etc. They are quality checked and should arrive to you in perfect condition. Please fully inspect the balloon before inflation for any defects and report any issues to us immediately (we cannot accept claims if the balloon has been discarded). Helium inflation requires special knowledge and care as over inflation or inflating too quickly can cause the balloon seams to burst or leak. Air temperature variations can also cause premature deflation of balloons. These factors may cause you to assume there is a fault with the balloon when, in fact, there is not, and therefore we are unfortunately unable to accept claims for faulty balloons once inflation attempts have been made.
Return of "late" and return to sender packages
The delivery estimates provided on our site are not guaranteed delivery times and actual delivery times may be affected by circumstances beyond our control. Should your parcel arrive later than your event, you may return the items to us, and our 'change of mind' refund policy applies.
If for whatever reason you do not take delivery of your items or you have entered your address incorrectly and your order is returned to us you will be entitled to a refund (excluding original delivery charges and/or any return charges we have incurred).
