Directions for Use

Apply evenly to the soil at the recommended rates listed below. For best results, use when the soil is moist. Lightly hoe into the surface and water in during dry conditions.

Note: One gloved handful is approximately 35 g.

Flowers, Roses and Shrubs

• Before planting or for established plants: 140 g/m² (4 oz/sq yd) in spring.

• Chrysanthemums: 200 g/m² (6 oz/sq yd) before planting.

• As a regular feed: 35 g/m² (1 oz/sq yd) every 3–4 weeks.

Vegetables

• Before sowing or planting: 140 g/m² (4 oz/sq yd).

• Top dressing during summer: 70 g/m² (2 oz/sq yd) once or twice.

Fruit

• Apply before planting or in early spring for established plants.

  • Apples, Pears, Plums: 175 g/m² (5 oz/sq yd).

  • Currants, Gooseberries, Raspberries: 140 g/m² (4 oz/sq yd).

  • Strawberries: 70–100 g/m² (2–3 oz/sq yd).

Tomatoes

• Before planting: 200 g/m² (6 oz/sq yd).

• Regular feed: 35 g/m² (1 oz/sq yd) every 3–4 weeks.

Lawns

• Use 140 g/m² (4 oz/sq yd) prior to sowing grass seed or laying turf.
