Description
The MD 8000.1 1-ohm digital amplifier module was carefully developed with the latest technology, delivering high performance and performance for the most varied automotive sound systems.
Its wide frequency response of 10Hz~10khz (-3db) allows it to be used with speakers of the most varied models, such as subwoofers, woofers, midbass, mid-range, and phenolic controllers.
Available in 1- or 2-ohm versions, it is an amplifier classified as mono, meaning it has a channel with a maximum power of 8000 watts rms.
Due to its diversity, it can be installed in cars, trucks, SUVs to amplify internal sound, such as trunk sound or famous trio boxes, among other automotive projects such as use on sound walls, Goiano trio, sound open suitcase, bob boxes, residential boxes, etc.
The strength you are looking for for for your sound system is here!
Technical specifications:
• Operation Class: Class d.
It is the construction indication of an amplifier, class d (also called digital) due to the pwm (pulse width modulation) used in its operation, it allows a small and efficient amplifier with reduced heating compared to other construction classes.
• Number of channels: 01.
Number of channels to use in your project, with this specific model you have the option to connect only 1 channel.
• Power @ 12.6v - 1 ohm: 8000w rms.
Power with a voltage of 12.6 volts is related to the operation of the vehicle/power supply.
• Power @ 12.6v – 2 ohms: 5120w rms.
Power with a voltage of 12.6 volts is related to the operation of the vehicle/power supply.
• Minimum output impedance: 1 ohm.
Association with the speaker result, where, for example, we can connect two 2 ohm speakers or 4 4 ohm speakers to the channel for this result.
• Minimum output impedance: 2 ohms.
Association with the speaker result, where, for example, we can connect two 4 ohm speakers or four 8 ohm speakers per channel, for this result.
• Minimum input sensitivity: 220mv.
Lower voltage required to get maximum results with the amplifier i.e. with low volume on the radio, we will achieve good results.
• Frequency Response: 10hz~10kHz (-3db).
With frequency response it is possible to identify the application of the amplifier, so whether the speaker or any other type of transducer you are using is understood within this response, it means that we can use that product in your project.
• Variable low crossover step (lpf): 90hz~10khz.
LPF or low-pass filter means low-pass filter, meaning it allows everything below this reference to be reproduced and nothing above this indication will be used. A common use of this feature is to reduce the presence of voice in subwoofers.
• Variable high-pass crossover (hpf): 10hz~90hz.
HPF, or high-pass filter, stands for high-pass filter, meaning it allows you to reproduce everything above this reference. Common use of this feature is to reduce the presence of bass in door speakers, for example.
Bass Boost: Frequency: 35Hz~55Hz (Pulse: 0~10db (50Hz).
Bass booster is the bass booster for the amp's subchannel, which is an "extra" booster for the bass.
• Supply voltage: 9 to 16v.
It is the operating indication of the amplifier where it will have the minimum and maximum voltage for operation, outside of this specification it will not turn on or activate the protection.
• Standing Consumption: 2.5a.
This is the benchmark for amp consumption on and without music.
• Maximum Music Consumption: @12.6vdc: 364.90a.
This is the estimated consumption of the amp that operates at a minimum impedance, playing music at a maximum volume.
• Maximum sine signal consumption: @12.6vdc: 729.80a.
Reference for bench/laboratory testing under specific conditions with resistive load, fixed frequency and stable power supply.
• Protection system: short output, short output relative to gnd, low impedance protection, high/low voltage protection and thermal protection.
This system exists to protect the operation of the amplifier. It may be related to output, when we have connections below the minimum impedance, a short circuit in installation, or even troubled speakers.
This protection can also occur due to voltages outside the operating range.
• Dimensions: width 22.8 cm x height 7 cm x depth 41.9 cm.
Extreme dimensions of the product.
• Weight: 6.10 kg.
Gross weight of the amplifier.
