This wonderful, original production drawing features Bob and Wendell the bakers from a Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal animated TV commercial, produced in the 1980's. The image features a great shot of the two bakers in the center right side of the paper.The piece has some great production markings and shading.

The cereal debuted in 1984. Wendell, a gentleman of advanced age who wears glasses and a baker's apron,
went to work at that time too along with his two sidekick bakers, Bob and Quello and first appeared on the CTC box and in advertising in 1987.
Usually rendered in graphite and/or colored pencil on paper, drawings illustrate an animator's creative process of bringing characters to life. Many collectors prefer drawing to cels, because they are often more spontaneous and full of life, and they are more likely to be the work of a lead animator.
