My parents owned a business in the 80s through early 2000s.  Judith Lesslie Cayot sold her dolls directly to my parents business.    This specific doll is left over inventory from their store.

She is completely made of porcelain.  Shes comes with a doll stand.  She has a stuffed bear doll.  Her upper body and torso are one piece.  legs, and arms are all seperate and attached internally (I'm assuming by bands).    The bands may need to be tightened.. I, unfortunately, don't have a ton of experience with dolls, so don't feel comfortable doing it.  From what I recall my mother saying is usually you "spin" the arms/legs to tighten?

She is beautifully and intricately made, her face is stunning.   Big beautifully painted brown eyes.  Softness to her face and expression. Exceptional detail to every part of her including her little fingers and face.  Gorgeous skin tone and flush cheeks.   She wears a adorable red white lace dress with 3/4 sleeves.  She wears bloomers and tights.  Her feet have black shoes with white bows.    Her dark brown hair adorns two ponytails with white ribbons. 

Doll is in perfect condition.   No rips or stains to clothing.  No breaks or cracks, etc to porcelain doll.  

Comes with certificate of authenticity.  

Comes with doll stand.

Photo's show information about the artist.  I believe, sadly, that she passed away.  From the letters she wrote to my mother she seemed like a very sweet woman and so incredibly talented.  Additional pictures below show some of her other dolls she made (I do not own these dolls they are not part of this sale).
