The Mellanox ConnectX-5 MCX556A-ECAT is a professional 100Gbit Single Port NIC for the PCIe x16 3.0 interface. You can use it to increase your network’s connectivity and adjust the data flow to your needs. The 2 QSFP28 ports can be connected to your network via a transceiver module or QSFP28 cables. The network adapter is cooled passively. It’s produced by Mellanox, but this is the OEM version, labeled by HPE. It’s technically identical to the original Mellanox component. Full and low profile brackets are included.
