"The creations of the Ampeg musical instrument company have played a major role in the development of popular music.  This book tells the tale of this extraordinary company on its fiftieth anniversary, weaving together the American success story of the company founder, the role of key inventors and inventions, and the development of innovative music equipment products - all against the backgrounds of American pop music and corporate competition in the music industry.  Many Ampeg endorsees are profiled, including Johnny Smith, James Jamerson, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Gary Karr, Victor Wooten, Bill Wyman, Jason Newsted, Michael Anthony and more.  The result provides something of interest to musicians, collectors, and those who lived part of the history.

Includes: Fifty-year corporate and musical chronicle; Product descriptions and time lines; Spotlight articles on key amps, instruments. and people; Technical appendices."

In superb condition - very close to Like New.  The only flaw we could find: the page block appears to be a bit wavey when viewed from the top and bottom; from the side it is straight and solid.  The poster is also in excellent condition.  This is a wonderful signed copy.
