The Supermicro host bus adapter AOC-S3008L-L8E, which is identical to the version by LSI / Broadcom, lets you increase the number of hard drives connected to your server or workstation. The adapter offers a PCIe x8 3.0 interface as well as 8 SATA / SAS interfaces via 2 miniSAS SFF-8643 ports. The maximum data transfer rate is 12 Gbps.  IT mode firmware is installed, and the adapter is universally compatible with all known brands. Low profile bracket for installation is included.
