Original World War II Basic Mileage Ration Book A17, OPA Form R-525C, issued by the United States Office of Price Administration. Includes multiple intact gasoline coupons, each serial numbered 223938, printed with the winged tire and USA background. Issued for use only with the registered vehicle, these “A” books were the most common wartime ration, allowing a small weekly gasoline allotment to conserve fuel and rubber for the war effort.
