Ready to hang. Framed to 14x11 inch. Dark red wooden frame.

Medium: Line Block Print (Relief Process). The original pen-and-ink drawing is photographed onto a light-sensitive coating on a metal plate (often zinc). The non-image areas are etched away, leaving the drawing as raised lines — similar to a rubber stamp. The plate is inked on the surface and pressed onto the paper. This creates a magnificent reproduction of the original drawing. This was used in limited edition prints and premium art folios.

Printed in 1929 and published in Paris by Editions Chroniques du Jour in an edition of 200.

Sheet size: 11 x 8 3/4 inches (280 x 220 mm).
Signed in the plate; not hand-signed.
