Real photo postcard showing three Eagle patrol boats docked at a sub base, location unknown. The Eagles were built by Ford to destroy German submarines but did not serve in WWI. One was sunk off the coast of Maine in 1945 making it one of the last American ships sunk by submarine in WWII. In nice shape, does have heavy marks at corners from years in a postcard album souvenir of a 1922 USS California world cruise.
