Hummel dolls are porcelain figurines manufactured by the German porcelain manufacturer Goebel since 1935. The dolls are exported worldwide and have a devoted following. Maria Innocentia Hummel, the original artist, was a nun at the Ziessen Abbey in Bavaria. Based on her drawings of children, Hummel dolls were created using Goebel's ceramic technology. The bright and adorable expressions of the children, along with their adorable gestures and innocent expressions, are captivating to look at. Hummel dolls were produced from 1935 onwards, but production was discontinued in 2008 due to sluggish sales. Why not add a Hummel doll to your collection, now a rare vintage piece?
