Silicone Ring Care Instructions

As medical grade silicone is a soft material that can often fit more snugly against your skin than a metal ring, it is important to know how to care for and clean your ring. These instructions apply to any pure medical grade silicone ring. 

Hand washing:

Always wash your hands with soap and water, ensuring that you move the ring around while washing your hands to wash under the ring. When drying your hands ensure there is no moisture between the ring and your skin. 

Showering and sleeping:

As people can sweat more during sleep, we recommend taking your ring off while sleeping. Similarly, take ring off when showering to avoid moisture and any bacteria staying under the ring after the shower.

Washing your ring:

If dirty, you can wash your silicone ring by soaking in warm soapy water for an hour and then giving a scrub. As a matter of routine, we suggest doing this for any ring on a 1-3 monthly basis for good hygiene. You can also put your ring in the dishwasher if you have a cutlery compartment with a lid. Silicone is very heat resistant.
