Old Estate '30s/'40s era Men's Chesterfield "Cal-O-Date" Watch for Restoration

This offering is for a rather unusual "Cal-O-Date" wristwatch, made by the Chesterfield Watch Company, marked "Swiss" on original dial and "Chesterfield" on back. Measures approx.43mm lug-to-lug by approx. 33mm in diameter. Great overall design; perfect for a hero watch in a period piece or restoration candidate. The lugs just make the wrist-stance of the piece. Not an expensive watch, but seems to be in good overall condition. Appears to be overbanked and the red second hand was loose in the case, but we have secured it for the buyer.

While this piece has good energy, seemingly great promise and a handsome wrist stance, it is not running and must be restored before being worn as an everyday driver. Because we have not serviced the piece ourselves, we cannot guarantee running condition or accuracy.
