This listing is for a Pentax K1000 35mm, inter-changeable lens, SLR (single-lens reflex) camera that comes with an Image-MC Auto Zoom/Macro 75-300mm f/5.6 lens and an Image-MC Auto 2X PKA Teleconverter. A perfect starter film-camera that is still used by professionals to this day. The K1000 is a fully mechanical camera meaning no batteries are required to operate it. There is a circular twist-to-open compartment on the bottom of the camera that takes a 1.5-volt LR44 alkaline battery or a SR44 silver-oxide battery which is strictly for the built-in light-meter (brand-new LR44 battery included) although, it is still fully operational without this battery/use of the light-meter. Fully-tested/working with no issues whatsoever and in excellent condition.

Not only are these cameras very sturdy/well-built but they’re built to last. I personally have only ever seen one K1000 in my life experience mechanical issues requiring repair and I have seen a lot of these cameras and know of other owners that swear by them as well.
