Orthoceras were hunters in the deepest part of Ancient Oceans. They were wild, brave and adventurous. They were ancient day warriors of the Paleozoic Era seas.
These fossils are all that is left of these brave predator hunters. They had well-developed eyes and a keen sense of smell, allowing them to hunt effectively in the dimly lit waters of their time. They lived 370 million years ago, and some believe even before that at 400 to 450 million years ago.
Today, they are only found in the Atlas mountains of Morocco, but their energies still remain within their fossil shells.
